Pakistan players move up in latest ICC T20I rankings

There was movement on the updated T20I rankings for batters, notably with players from Ireland and Pakistan catching the eye after their series in Dublin

Ireland's Andrew Balbirnie climbed six places to 53rd, tallying 128 runs across three matches against Pakistan. His teammate, Harry Tector, surged 12 spots to 69th on the same list, contributing 98 runs in the series.

Fakhar Zaman, the aggressive left-handed batsman from Pakistan, ascended four places to 57th in the updated batting rankings.

Additionally, Imad Wasim, made significant progress, moving up 24 spots to tie for 52nd in the bowling rankings and climbing five spots to equal 16th in the all-rounder rankings, showcasing his economical bowling against Ireland.

Mohammad Rizwan (781) and Babar Azam (761) maintained their respective third and fourth positions in the ICC T20 batting rankings, while Suryakumar Yadav continued to lead with 861 rating points.

However, Shadab Khan's bowling rankings suffered a setback as he dropped six places to 33rd after conceding 54 runs without taking a wicket in four overs during the first T20I, leading to his exclusion from the next two matches against Ireland.

Haris Rauf also slipped three spots to 27th in the rankings after missing the Ireland series.
